Physical activity has significant effect on mind and can enhance intellectual working, says senior neuroscientist Vijayalakshmi Ravindranath.

Talking at an address ‘Human Brain-Complexity Behind the Simplicity’ at India International Center Friday evening, Ravindranath said great physical wellbeing is critical for mind.

“Physical wellbeing has significant effect on cerebrum as physical movement produced more neurons and enhance intellectual capacity,” said Ravindranath from Center for Neuroscience, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

The human mind is the mediator of faculties, controller of development and truth be told in charge of all we hold onto as progress.
